air fryer french toast | GIRLS WHO EAT

French toast is the best weekend (or weekday) breakfast, am I right? What if I told you, you could make it in under 15 minutes all thanks to your air fryer. This version is super simple, made with only 5 ingredients and ready quickly. Cooking your french toast in the air fryer gets it crispy and cooked the same way it does on the stove!

What you will need:

  • Air Fryer
  • Bread: I like to use sourdough bread, but any bread will work
  • Eggs
  • Vanilla
  • Plant Based Milk: I use Elmhurst 1925 two ingredient Cashew or Almond Milk
  • Cinnamon: I can never have too much cinnamon

Tips:

  • Always preheat your air fryer so that your recipe cooks better
  • Cooking time may vary depending on the type and size of your air fryer
  • Top your french toast with your favorite maple syrup (mine is Runamok), some fresh berries, or caramelized bananas (saute on stove with cinnamon and ghee or coconut oil)

How to Store:

  • I like to eat French toast right after it is made, but you can store it in a sealed airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days and reheat in the microwave!
