Rinse and dry your brussels sprouts and then remove any outer brown leaves.
Steam brussels by placing them in a pot with about 1-2 inches of water at the bottom and a steamer basket. Cover the pot, let the water come to a boil and steam brussels for 5-10 minutes (until they are soft and cooked through).
Place brussels on parchment paper on a flat surface, ideally a counter. Using the base of a cup, press down to “smash” them.
You can either drizzle olive oil and spices over the brussels sprouts on the baking tray or move the brussels sprouts to a mixing bowl and mix everything together well.
Preheat the air fryer for 4 minutes at 380 degrees. Add brussels sprouts to the air fryer and cook at 380 degrees for 5 minutes, then flip them over and air fry for an additional 3 minutes. Add extra time if needed for extra crispiness.
While brussels sprouts cool, add your vegan parm ingredients into a food processor or high speed blender and blend until fine.
Top your crispy brussels sprouts with the vegan parm (as much as you want) and ENJOY!
