Ingredients  

Oat Base

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 banana, mashed
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil, melted
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup

Strawberry Filling

  • 2 cups strawberries, sliced
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp water

Instructions 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • While the oven heats up, slice strawberries and heat a medium pan over medium heat on the stove. Put all of the strawberry filling ingredients on the stove and cook for a few minutes on low heat and let simmer for 3-5 minutes. Stir frequently.
  • While the filling cooks, put all of the oat base ingredients into a medium mixing bowl. Using a hand mixer or whisk, mix oat base together well.
  • Line a deep pan with parchment paper and use 1/2 the dough to make a thin layer of oat base (about ¼ inch) then add the strawberry filling on top of the oat mixture and crumble the remaining dough on top.
  • Bake for 30 minutes and ENJOY!
