  • Lodge Cast Iron Skillet

Ingredients  

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup dairy free milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp ground coffee
  • 2 pieces gluten free bread
  • coconut oil, melted

Instructions 

  • In a medium mixing bowl, mix all of the ingredients (except coconut oil) together until blended.
  • Using a fork, place the bread slices into mixture coating both sides well for about 15 seconds per side.
  • Heat a medium sized pan over medium heat and add coconut oil so the entire base of the pan is covered.
  • Once oil is hot, add your bread to the pan and cook for a few minutes on both sides until slices are golden brown. You can always lower heat if they start to brown too quickly. I will just take longer for each side to cook.
  • Remove the toast from the pan and add your favorite toppings, some maple syrup, and ENJOY!
