Ingredients  

  • 2 1/2 cups raw almonds (12oz bag)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Add the almonds to the baking tray and cook for 10 minutes. Then let the almonds cool.
  • In a food processor, add almonds and blend for 10-15 minutes, stopping the processor to scrape the sides and continuing until a smooth butter texture forms. It might even take up to 20 minutes.
  • Once you have a creamy mixture, add in your add-ins (salt, cinnamon, maple syrup), which are all optional and blend these for another 30 seconds to 1 minute until they are mixed in.
  • Remove the mixture from the food processor and store in a sealed glass storage container and ENJOY!
