Cooking & Baking Supplies

  • Dog Cookie Cutter
  • Baking Tray
  • Parchment Paper

Ingredients

  • 1 banana, ripe
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup crunchy or creamy peanut butter
  • 1 3/4 cup oat flour
  • sprinkle of cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, mash banana well, then mix in the egg and peanut butter until it’s a smooth consistency.
  • Add in a sprinkle of cinnamon and the oat flour. If you’re using homemade oat flour made from ground up oats, use 1½ cups as it is a thicker consistency than store bought oat flour.
  • Use your hands to knead flour into the dough. The dough should not be sticky. If it is, add in more flour, 1 tablespoon at a time.
  • Roll the dough into a large ball and place on a flat surface on top of a piece of parchment paper.
  • Roll out the dough using a rolling pin until it is about ½ inch thick. Use your cookie cutter to cut out each cookie and place them on your baking tray lined with parchment paper. These can be placed close together since they do not rise or expand when baked.
  • Once you have cut out as many cookies as possible, take the leftover dough, knead it a bit and roll it out again and make more cookies. Do this until all of the dough is used up. Bake your treats for 15-18 minutes (until the base becomes a golden brown) on the bottom rack of your oven.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool. Then give to your pups to ENJOY!
