Cooking & Baking Supplies

  • Baking Tray
  • Parchment Paper

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter (ingredients should just be peanuts)
  • 1/3 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2-2 1/4 cups oat flour
  • sprinkle of cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk the egg, then add in peanut butter and pumpkin puree and mix until it’s a smooth consistency.
  • Add in a sprinkle of cinnamon and the oat flour. If you’re using homemade oat flour made from ground up oats, use 1 ¾ - 2 cups as it is a thicker consistency than store bought oat flour.
  • Use your hands to mix the flour into the dough. The dough should not be sticky so if you find that it is, add in more flour, 1 tablespoon at a time until it feels right.
  • Roll the dough into a large ball and place on a flat surface on top of a piece of parchment paper.
  • Using the rolling pin, roll out the dough until it is about ½ inch thick. Then, use your cookie cutter to cut out each cookie and place them on your baking tray lined with parchment paper. These can be placed close together since they do not rise or expand when baked.
  • Once you have cut out as many cookies as possible, take the leftover dough, knead it a bit and roll it out again and make more cookies. Do this until all of the dough is used up. Bake your treats for 15-18 minutes (until the base becomes a golden brown) on the bottom rack of your oven.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool. Then give to your pups to ENJOY!
