Cherry Chocolate Nice Cream

Cherry Garcia Nice Cream | GIRLS WHO EAT

We are on the nice cream train HARD this summer. What’s better than banana based ice cream that is dairy free and can be made in so many different ways? We made a nice cream version with large chunks of cherries and chocolate that is vegan and tastes just as good. I tend to eat the whole batch in one sitting.

For this nice cream, you will need to have frozen sliced bananas on hand to start. That is really the only thing you need to prep in advance.. You will also want to cut up your cherries in half to use to blend into the nice cream and to mix in as chunks.

This nice cream is really the perfect summer treat. It’s smooth and creamy and can be stored in the freezer for up to two weeks in an airtight container. You can always leave out the chocolate chips if that isn’t your thing and mix in nuts or coconut instead!

Remove from the freezer 15-20 minutes before you plan to eat the nice cream so it can soften a little bit. This nice cream can last in the freezer for up to two weeks!

Substitution Ideas:

  • Dairy Free Milk: you can do regular milk or coconut milk, which will make it thicker
