Make Your Own Vegan Sour Cream

vegan sour cream | GIRLS WHO EAT

Sour cream is delicious on top of so many dishes, especially my nachos, but finding a store bought version that is organic or non GMO and does not have any added sugars, gums or natural flavors can be a tough search. Now try to find one that is dairy free, almost impossible! My homemade sour cream is made with only 4 simple ingredients (one being water) so that you can easily make your own version from home and feel great after eating it. Add it on top of taco bowls, nachos or anything else that you would use sour cream on and you will be converted to only making your own!

For this recipe, you will need:

  • Cashews: you want to soak your cashews in hot boiling water for 10 minutes to allow them to soften
  • Lime Juice
  • Salt

How to Store:

  • Store in a sealed airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days

Use sour cream on top of:

Fajita Sheet Pan

Black Bean Burgers

Nachos
