White Bean Hummus | GIRLS WHO EAT

Hummus is a staple in my household because I love a good protein dish that can be enjoyed on its own or on top of a salad! I decided to mix it up and made white bean hummus with only 7 easy and simple ingredients. This recipe takes 5 minutes to make and is light and refreshing, perfect for the summer heat.

White beans are a great source of fiber, magnesium, iron, and protein. There is no prep required for this dish, but you will need to have a high power blender or food processor! You will want to rinse your white beans really well under cold water (for about a minute) to remove any of the residue from the can.

The best part about this hummus, is you can throw in any spices you have in your cabinet or fridge! I suggest doing some sort of spice mixture to give the dish more flavor and taste. This hummus can easily be enjoyed on its own with pita chips, sliced veggies like carrots or cucumbers, or as a topping on a toast or salad. It lasts for 3 days in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
