Make Your Own Vegan Parmesan Cheese

vegan parmesan cheese | GIRLS WHO EAT

This vegan parmesan is a staple item I use in many of my recipes. It is made with 4 simple ingredients and is cashew based (no soaking is required). It takes 5 minutes to make in a food processor and can be stored in the fridge for at least 2 weeks. I use this parm in so many recipes and to sprinkle on salads, savory toasts, or on pasta.

For this recipe, you will need:

Cashews

Nutritional Yeast: this is a great vegan replacement for cheese and is packed with B vitamins!

Garlic Powder

Salt

How to Store:

  • Store in a sealed airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks!

Recipes to try that use my vegan parmesan:

Lemon Roasted Asparagus

Spinach Artichoke Dip

Cheesy Kale Chips
