Raspberry Nice Cream

raspberry nice cream | GIRLS WHO EAT

I am a huge nice cream fan over here, the banana based dairy free healthy “ice cream”, and it really does the trick when I crave ice cream but I don’t feel any guilt after eating the entire pint. There are so many different combos you can make with frozen bananas and if you’re a berry lover, then this raspberry one’s for you.

Nice cream is one of the easiest recipes to make and requires minimum prep. The only thing you need to do in advance is freeze the bananas. Seriously, it’s that simple. You will need a high power blender or food processor to make the nice cream, so once your bananas are frozen, throw all ingredients into it and blend!

If you like your ice cream sweeter, then keep the maple syrup. Otherwise you can remove it and you will still get a lot of sweetness from the raspberries.

I promise this recipe is the perfect light and refreshing treat on these warm summer days!

Substitution Ideas:

  • Dairy Free Milk: you can use regular milk or coconut milk
  • Raspberries: you can use other berries such as blueberries. strawberries, or blackberries

Remove from the freezer 15-20 minutes before you plan to eat the nice cream so it can soften a little bit. This nice cream can last in the freezer for up to two weeks!
