vegan caesar dressing | GIRLS WHO EAT

I absolutely love a good creamy caesar dressing and this is just that but without any dairy or the anchovies. This dressing is always stocked in my fridge and is a great option to have on hand for lunchtime meal prep! It takes less than 10 minutes to mix up (all you need is a bowl or mason jar) and is vegan, gluten free, and sugar free!

To make this recipe:

  • Pull out all your ingredients and mince your garlic
  • Add everything to a bowl or mason jar and shake it up

For this recipe, I used:

Tahini: a great vegan and nut free ingredient that is made from sesame seeds. I love Soom’s tahini because it does not separate like most tahinis (with oil on the top) and has a subtle tahini flavor until some other brands that can be bitter.

Dijon Mustard: this adds just the right bit of tanginess to the dressing.

Nutritional Yeast: this adds a slight cheesy flavor to the recipe. This ingredient is packed with vitamins including B12 and is a staple in vegan and clean eating kitchens.

Tips:

  • Water makes the dressing liquidy, which is my preference. If you want it thicker, start with 8 tbsp and add in additional tablespoons if you want it thinner.

Storage:

  • You can store the caesar dressing in the refrigerator in a sealed container or mason jar for up to two weeks!
