Banana Milk Creamer

banana creamer | GIRLS WHO EAT

It is hard to find a clean coffee creamer – one without a lot of added refined sugars, gums, and natural flavors – so I decided to try my hand at this one since I recently saw banana milk in the grocery store and was intrigued, but the ingredients were not something I wanted to put in my body. I made this version with super ripe bananas and only 5 simple real ingredients. I used two bananas to make it creamier and turn it into a creamer, but you can also use one and have it as more of a milk instead.ย

For this recipe, you will need:

Banana: you want to use ripe bananas, ideally a couple brown spots

Maple Syrup: itโ€™s best to use pure maple syrup for best flavor and to be the most nutrient dense and cleanest option

Vanilla: adds a subtle vanilla flavor to your recipe

Cinnamon: optional, but I love the taste of cinnamon and itโ€™s great for digestion

Tips:

  • This recipe is a great way to use very ripe bananas with brown spots
  • Use 2 bananas if you love a banana flavor and want a creamier texture
  • Use 1 banana for a more milky consistency and less banana taste
  • You can omit maple syrup to make it sugar free

How to Store:

  • Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 days in a sealed jar and shake it before you drink it!
