pumpkin spiced latte | GIRLS WHO EAT

It is that time of year again, pumpkin everything, so I made the most delicious Pumpkin Spiced Latte in 5 minutes that is perfect to enjoy whether warm or cold. Not only does it save you money to make your own, but Pumpkin Spice lattes at coffee shops are often packed with tons of refined sugars that are not necessary to kickstart your morning.  Become your own coffee shop and treat yourself to this cozy fall drink!!

For this recipe, you will need:

  • Plant Based Milk: I recommend almond, cashew, or walnut
  • Maple Syrup: it’s best to use pure maple syrup for best flavor and to be the most nutrient dense and cleanest option
  • Vanilla
  • Pumpkin Puree: Choose one that is only pumpkin
  • Pumpkin Pie Spice: check to make sure that there is no sugar in your pumpkin spice and is just made with real spices
  • Espresso Shots or Coffee
  • Handheld Frother or Blender

Tips:

  • You can add more or less maple syrup depending on how sweet you want your latte
  • Make sure your coffee is warm so it properly blends with the pumpkin creamer
  • You can top your drink with some extra pumpkin pie spice
