There is just something so refreshing and hydrating about watermelon juice. Pair it with some fresh mint, lime, and cucumber and you’ve gone to drink heaven! This recipe is perfect for a warmer day or any day that you are looking to get some extra hydration in, which for me is every day.

Aqua Fresca is a non-alcoholic fruit drink served in Mexico and several Central American countries. It is typically a blend of fruit and sugar, but for this version, I opted out of adding in any additional sweetness because there was already a lot of real sugar and sweetness from the watermelon juice. There are endless combinations of Aqua Fresca’s you can make so this is just the start. I love starting my day or winding down from my day with a fresh beverage made from in-season fruits!

Making this drink is so easy and simple. You just add all of the ingredients into the blender and blend until everything is smooth. Top with some fresh mint and enjoy! Sometimes you might get a little bit of fruit clumps depending on your blender, so you can always put the drink through a fine strainer before you drink it.
